Six answers are enough for us to come back with a real costed itinerary rather than a brochure.
And the best number to reach you on.
Passport nationality decides your permit route and fees.
Even approximate months help us advise on weather and festivals.
And ages, if children or elderly parents are coming.
Culture, hiking, festivals, photography, or simply rest.
A range is fine. It changes hotels, not the country.
Tshechu dates follow the Bhutanese lunar calendar and move every year, so they have to be planned around rather than assumed. Paro and Thimphu draw the biggest crowds; smaller valley festivals are quieter and often more affecting. Tell us the year and we will tell you the dates.
Group travel changes the arithmetic considerably — vehicle size, hotel rates and guide cost all move with numbers. We regularly handle corporate groups, extended families and friend groups travelling together from Bangladesh and West Bengal.
From day hikes around Paro up to multi-day routes camping at altitude. Trekking needs more lead time for permits, staff and equipment, and a frank conversation about fitness. Worth starting the planning early.
Different pacing entirely — early starts, long waits at good light, and routes chosen for what they look like rather than what is on the standard circuit. We will pair you with a guide used to working that way.
Three or four days is genuinely enough to see the Paro and Thimphu valleys properly, and plenty of travellers from Dhaka and Kolkata come for exactly that. We would rather build you a good short trip than a bad long one.
Message us with whatever you know so far. Even half an answer is enough to begin.
